Pit Boss Austin XL /1100 air gap deflector plate. This plate does not require any drilling or modifications of your smoker and will not void your warranty. It’s simple and just butts up against the heat shield, which will direct hot air to flow through side of the heat shield instead of directly to your internal thermometer which causes inaccurate temperature swings.
