This Futon mattress is delivered compressed in a vacuum bag. After opening the vacuum bag, the Futon mattress will gain air and return to its original thickness. Wrinkles may be present on the Futon but this is not a defect, please air for a few hours. On a dry, sunny day, dry the Futon on both sides for about two hours each. The Futon will gain air, becoming fluffy and soft.

[Cautions for use] To prevent the Futon getting damaged, please use covers or sheets.　Make sure to wash the covers and sheets frequently. The Futon should be dried in the sunshine, or in a Futon dryer. With sunshine and heat, it will become more resilient, warm and fluffy. Lightly beat the futon occasionally to remove dust.

Store in a dry place, with the mattress on the bottom and the comforter on top. If the Futon will be stored for a while, it should be dried first and stored in a dry place with the covers removed. Dry the Futon on a regular basis even if not in use.

When the Futon becomes dirty, please spot clean and dry well. This Futon cannot be washed in a washing machine. Please refer to a dry cleaner or a Futon company.

Lightly beat the futon occasionally to remove dust. Airing If you use a futon with a futon cover or sheet, please remove them when airing (drying). Make sure the whole surface is exposed to sunlight. The best time for airing is between 10 AM and 3 PM, on a dry, sunny day. Do not beat too hard, as it could damage its fabric and stuffing. Storage Store in a dry place, with the mattress on the bottom and the comforter on top. If the Futon will be stored for a while, it should be dried first and stored in a dry place with the covers removed. Ensure the storage area is kept dry and free of insects.
