The design is contoured to mimic the front of the slide, and give the appearance of having an extended slide.  The bushing ID. Is .583" +-.0005". In general, this part is machined to fit any 1911 stock or clone pistol that has a barrel OD. between .577"-581". Even with a standard, stock size barrel, the part may require some fitting depending on your individual barrel and slide combination, but is machined to spec to fit onto a stock configured 1911. Every compensator we machine is the same size with the same specs detailed in this listing ( ID Is .583" +-.0005 fit any 1911 clone pistol that has a barrel OD between .577"-581") , but we can't say the same for every gun. Every one of our compensators should fit on 1911 clones with barrel bushing the same specs as our part; however, they will not fit on a bull barrel. We advise all buyers in doubt of whether the part will fit their weapon, to go to a gunsmith or local gun shop to confirm that the compensator will fit their weapon before ordering to avoid the cost of having to ship the part back for a refund. If your gun is a 1911 clone, and has a barrel bushing but the comp will not fit on your gun, we recommend you take it to your local gunsmith for fitting.
