That depends on the vehicle. Moto-Pet's pet carrier is designed to be mounted on a wide variety of popular style motorcycles including standard, sport, cruising and touring models as well as other vehicles. On ATV or UTV, pet carrier mounts on an appropriate rear luggage rack When considering if the pet carrier will mount on your motorcycle, keep in mind the reinforced bottom of the pet carrier is designed to rest and be mounted on a motorcycle luggage rack or passenger part of the the seat. How is the Pet Carrier mounted on the motorcycle?  Pet carrier is held in place on the motorcycle with 4 adjustable hold down mounting straps.

Top of each of the 4 adjustable hold down straps clips on a metal D-rings on each of the 4 corner’s of the pet carrier. 

Bottom of each of the 4 adjustable hold down straps are attached to

mounting points on the motorcycle frame. 

Adjustable holds down straps then are tightened to hold down pet carrier to the motorcycle.
