Hamption Bay Path Light has a design flaw.  The joints are weak.  After a normal winter a good percentage of them are broken.  Some are even broken during the installation process.  We have designed a much stronger replacement bottom.  The part is split into two which allow for wires to be inserted.  See included drawing. Directions: Remove the broken joint and unplug the cable if needed.  Needle-nose players are best for this . Slide replacement 2 parts together forming a complete thread.  An additional adapter to thread to the stake is available in stores. For 20mm square tubing light posts with 17.5mm inside clearance.
