HITTING WITH WOOD BATS REQUIRES PLAYERS TO HIT THE BALL PROPERLY ON THE CORRECT PART OF THE BARREL AND WILL DEVELOP PROPER HITTING SKILLS. HITTING PITCHING MACHINE BALLS INCREASES THE LIKELIHOOD OF BREAKAGE AS MACHINE BALLS ARE MORE DENSE THEN REAL BASEBALLS.
